Downers Grove, IL, April 14, 2026 — My Well Ministry today announced the retirement of Executive Director Carolyn Irwin after many years of faithful and impactful leadership, and the appointment of Matt Morris as the organization’s new Executive Director.
Carolyn Irwin has served My Well with steadfast devotion, helping shape the ministry into a trusted partner for churches and nonprofits committed to stewarding Kingdom resources wisely. As she transitions into a new role on My Well’s Board of Directors, we celebrate a leader who helped build My Well into what it is today.
Throughout her tenure, Carolyn embodied My Well’s mission to serve the Church with excellence, integrity, and a willingness to go the second mile through care, responsiveness, and partnership. Under her leadership, My Well strengthened its commitment to helping ministries reduce unnecessary processing costs while continuing to reinvest in the technology and service that helps churches keep more in ministry.
Her influence leaves a lasting legacy of servant leadership, relational trust, and unwavering faithfulness, and we’re grateful she will continue to help guide the mission in this next chapter as a member of the Board.
“Carolyn’s impact on My Well and the churches we serve cannot be overstated,” said John Pitzaferro, Founder of My Well. “She has led with humility, conviction, and deep love for the Church. Her legacy will continue to shape who we are for years to come.”
Succeeding Carolyn is Matt Morris, a seasoned leader with more than two decades of experience in church technology, operations, product development, and organizational leadership. Matt brings a strong background in building scalable systems, strengthening teams, and delivering thoughtful, ministry-aligned solutions to the faith community.
“Matt’s heart for the Church and his deep expertise in process and product leadership position My Well for its next season of growth,” Pitzaferro added.“ He understands that technology must serve ministry—not the other wayaround—and that our calling is to faithfully steward resources while walking alongside churches as true partners.”
As Matt steps into this role, My Well remains committed to its foundingmission: helping ministries maximize generosity, operate with integrity, and advance the Gospel with excellence. The organization will continue to build upon Carolyn’s foundation while doubling down on innovation, service, and its distinctive commitment to going the second mile for every church and nonprofit it serves.
“My Well exists to support the Church,” Morris said. “I’m honored to build on Carolyn’s legacy and to serve alongside a team deeply committed to helping ministries thrive. We look forward to continuing to strengthen partnerships, improve solutions, and serve faithfully in the years ahead.”
Carolyn’s retirement marks the close of a meaningful chapter, but the mission remains unchanged. Guided by faith and strengthened by trusted leadership, My Well enters this next season with gratitude for the past and confident hope for the future.
